Why Choose Asya Nail Studio
- Unrushed appointments — every Russian manicure is booked for a full 90 minutes, so nothing is hurried.
- Waterless, dry e-file technique — single-use abrasives, sterilized bits, no soaking.
- TPO-free, non-toxic gels — no TPO, a gel photoinitiator banned from nail products in the EU since September 2025.
- Long-lasting results — a Russian manicure typically holds 3–4 weeks with a clean grow-out.
- All technicians are licensed in accordance with New York State requirements.
Hygiene &
Safety
Our waterless technique removes shared foot baths and soaking — the step where bacteria most easily pass between clients. Every appointment follows the same routine:
- No foot baths or soaking — manicures and pedicures are done with a dry e-file.
- Single-use abrasives — files and buffers are disposable and used for one client only.
- Sterilized diamond bits — e-file bits are sterilized before every client.
- Professional gel systems — we work only with TPO-free, non-toxic gels, including Luna and Ga&Ma/Gemely, chosen for durability and safety for the natural nail.
Russian Manicure in Manhattan
Russian manicure is our signature service and what we're best known for in Flatiron, Manhattan. It's a precise, waterless technique: the cuticle area is cleaned with a dry e-file, nails are shaped close to the cuticle, and TPO-free gel is applied for a clean, even finish.
Every Russian manicure is booked for a full 90 minutes. The Russian Gel Manicure is $90, or $100 with a Top Technician; clients who need more strength choose hard gel ($120, or $130 with a Top Technician). With daily cuticle oil, most clients wear it 3–4 weeks before the next appointment.
If you've been searching for a Russian manicure in Manhattan or near Flatiron, Gramercy, or Union Square, this is the service most clients come to us for.

Pedicure in Manhattan, Flatiron
We also offer waterless Smart pedicures in Flatiron. Instead of soaking, we use patented SMART disks (single-use abrasive pads on a dry e-file, used instead of blades) to remove calluses and dead skin precisely — cleaner, longer-lasting, and more hygienic, since no foot baths means no bacteria spread between clients.
The Smart Gel Pedicure ($100, 1 hr 30 min) finishes with gel polish; the Regular Smart Pedicure ($80, 1 hr) gives a natural, polished result. Both use single-use disposable abrasives. Many clients combine a pedicure with their Russian manicure in one visit.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
A Russian Gel Manicure at Asya Nail Studio is $90, or $100 with a Top Technician, and takes about 90 minutes. Russian Hard Gel is $120 ($130 with a Top Technician). Both include dry e-file cuticle work and TPO-free gel. We're at 23 E 20th St in Flatiron, Manhattan.
-
Most clients wear their Russian manicure for 3–4 weeks with a clean grow-out, with no lifting or chipping when natural nails are healthy.
-
A Russian manicure uses a dry e-file to clean the cuticle area precisely and applies gel close to the cuticle, so the finish looks neater and grows out cleaner. A regular gel manicure skips that detailed cuticle work, so results are less defined and often don't last as long.
-
Yes. The technique is precise and waterless, using single-use disposable abrasives, sterilized bits, and TPO-free, non-toxic gel. It isn't suitable if your nails show signs of infection — redness, swelling, or pus; in that case, please see a doctor first.

We work primarily by appointment. Walk-ins are welcome when a technician is free, and every visit is booked through our system. To be sure of a spot, book online at asya-studio.square.site or call (929) 773-7770.
